2nd Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2), 28 – 30 January 2025, Brussels
Just across from the European Parliament at Neth-ER (Netherlands house for Education and Research), the project team came together for the second project meeting of EBBD GRACE.
What has been done in Brussels?
1. Research instruments finalised:
Thanks to the workpackage coordinators and the contribution and commitment of all project team members the research instruments on the topics of sustainability and micro-credentials were validated and finalised.

2. Learned a lot from experts, in the field of VET and Green Transition, micro- credentials, current developments in Brussels and the challenges in defining learning outcomes. Thanks to the experts for supporting us in having insightful discussions and giving us valuable feedback and perspectives to further strengthen the project, its results and impact.
Experts that supported us in TPM2 Brussels:
Anastasia Pouliou, expert in qualifications and credentials at Cedefop; Tim van Rie, DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion Jobs and Skills – Vocational Education and Training; Marleen Stumpel, Stefano Tirati and Carlo Stefano Cavicchioli of MICOO; Kia Likitalo, of the technical support team of the Europass platform; Annabel Hoven, policy officer at Neth-ER updated us on the current development in Brussels; Jesca Zweijtzer, of the Dutch National Agency.
3. Worked constructively together throughout the days and explored the Scaffold method. A method to design competence oriented learning experiences, using the different European competence frameworks, such as GreenComp. We have become so excited about this method, that we decided to use this in the EBBD training April 2025 and the Olena Bekh of the European Training Foundation is supporting us in this!

Next Steps
- Conducting research of both micro-credentials and the sustainability;
- Updating the EBBD member colleges on the progress in EBBD GRACE during the EBBD annual training event 3 – 4 April 2025.
