EBBD AGM and Training Event 2026 in Mainz, Germany
At the Gutenberg Digital Hub in Mainz, keynote speakers, alumni, and representatives of EBBD colleges from 11 countries gathered for EBBD Annual Training Event.
From engaging sessions on sustainability, micro-credentials, AI in education, and assessment practices, to the inspiring contributions from alumni and experts, the event highlighted once again how valuable the EBBD network and its joint certificate is. Working together, sharing expertise, and exploring new ways to strengthen EBBD and cooperation activities among colleges across Europe is what keeps this community moving forward.
We are grateful for the open exchange, the collaborative and constructive mindset, and the many new ideas we generated together. The steps in EBBD GRACE were shared with the network, and colleagues worked intensively on integrating GreenComp into EBBD.
It was a special AGM because of the farewell of Grit Arnold and Kaisu Luukka as boardmembers. We are very grateful for their commitment, passion, and dedication to the EBBD mission over the years. Tim Woytczak and Hilla Helasaari were elected as secretary and 2nd vice chairperson. Two experienced EBBD colleagues who will help guide the network into its next phase of development.
The board was pleased to share that in 2025, three new colleges were accredited: Lycée Charles Peguy à Gorges (France), Bodø upper secondary school (Norway) and Creascolo ( Hungary), marking a great moment of growth and strengthening of the network.
Of course, we also enjoyed the beautiful city of Mainz together — from the city walk and wine tasting to the cultural visits and great conversations over dinner.
A heartfelt thank you to:
